Format el 2014, mitra mitra és un duet de música vienesa format per Violet Candide i Mahk Rumbae. Violet Candide, originària de Nova Zelanda, es va fer un nom com a DJ a l’escena post-punk i minimal-synth de Viena. També està involucrada en altres projectes com Peppy Pep Pepper, Slow Glass i Violetiger. D’altra banda, Mahk Rumbae, músic britànic, és conegut pel seu treball amb Konstruktivistes, Oppenheimer MkII i el seu projecte de techno en solitari Codex Empire. Junts, MITRA MITRA crea cançons electròniques que combinen elements de synth-pop, electro i minimal synth, proporcionant una versió moderna de la música electrònica clàssica. Es van aventurar de l’estudi a l’escenari el 2015 per Anglaterra, Alemanya, Bèlgica, Hongria i Àustria i són coneguts per la seva presentació única i les seves interaccions atractives amb la multitud.
